How to get Big – Asian Muscle Secrets.

Everytime I go to an Asian club, I’m the biggest guy there and guys always come up to me giving me props and asking me how much I bench and squat.

There are benefits to being big. Guys give you respect and don’t fuck with you. You can walk through a crowd easily since people move out of the way. Bouncers treat you better. Non-Asian girls, such as White Girls and Black girls all prefer a guy that’s not skinny. And certain Asian girls, especially the import model type ones love guys with muscles. So guys are always surprised when I tell them that I don’t lift weights regularly and I never tried to max out my bench or squat. I joke and tell them it’s genetics of being Asian, but we all know that’s not true so what is it really?

Secrets to adding muscle and getting big:

1. You grow in your sleep:

Most Asian guys I know have shitty sleep schedules and what they don’t realize is that is when you grow. Your muscles don’t get bigger at the gym. They get bigger in bed. During deep sleep your body creates and releases both testosterone and growth hormones. And if you did work out, during this rest period is when your body repairs the torn muscles larger and stronger.

In my personal experience I think this may be the number one reason why I’m bigger and taller than most of my cousins, and most Asian guys in general. My dad never let me watch TV as a kid and I hated to study so I would go to bed every night after dinner just out of sheer boredom. The result, I slept an average of 10 hours a night and grew tall and wide.

2. Enjoy Eating and make it a priority

Most skinny Asian guys I know don’t make food a priority. They skip breakfast most days and skip a lot of meals. You have to eat big to get big. You might need about 3,000 calories a day to get big, so make it count and don’t fill up on useless crap. Don’t drink calories from soda, juice or any crap like that. Eat real food, and eat real good food. Bacon and eggs for breakfast, Pot Roast with Mashed Potatoes for lunch, and Half a Roast Chicken for dinner are typical good choices. If you need to build an appetite, watch food porn aka Man v. Food and Diners, Drive Ins and Dives. Another secret is:

Eat More Fat:

By this I don’t mean french fries and ice cream. I mean good healthy fat. The best would be pure butter from grass-fed cows. My favorite brand is Kerry Gold Butter. You can get it at Trader Joes for $3, it’s $5 at Von’s. I get the salted one. Cook eggs in it (both yolk and white), saute vegetables in it, rub your chicken in it before your roast it. Be generous, if you want to get big, aim to eat 1/2 a stick of it a day, which is about 4 ounces or 110 grams. Healthy fat, including extra virgin olive oil, extra virgin coconut oil and butter.

Drink High Fat Protein Shakes:

If you want to get big, drink three of these a day. One within 10 minutes of waking up, one within 20 minutes of your workout and one right before bed.

Mix 1.5 scoops protein powder – I buy Optimum Nutrition, studies have shown it actually has the protein listed while a lot of company’s don’t. French Vanilla is my favorite for this, Chocolate is good on it’s own.

2 Spoon Fulls of Chia Seeds – Google it. If you like tapioca let it sit in water for 10-20 minutes first, if not, just put it straight in and it’ll be like seeds.

Coconut Milk – Put in 1/3 or 1/2 a can for both creamy flavor and the healthy fats of coconut. Sometimes I just use coconut oil straight up.

Water or Almond Milk – Usually 8oz but depending on how thick you want it.

Optional: Cinnamon, frozen blueberries, yogurt, raw oatmeal, ice. You can either blend it or you can just shake it up.

3. Lift Heavy or Go Home:

If you want to build muscle through weight lifting, lift heavy. Obviously this is optional, since you can get big without lifting heavy weights. I personally just do body weight exercises such as pull ups, push ups, dips, and cross training. But when I do lift weights, I add on muscle quick. First, and this is important, spend 2 months building a fountain of core strength so you don’t injure yourself. If you can’t do 30 pushups and 10 pull ups, don’t attempt to lift heavy weights yet. Just build a foundation. Then if you want to get serious about getting big, do what they did in Tim Ferris’ book, the 4 hour body. Do 1 set of the heaviest weights you do can do for 6 reps with good form going up 5 seconds and own 5 seconds, when I tried this for a month I gained 10 lbs of muscle. Do squats, bench press, shoulder press and lat pull downs all on the same day. And then most importantly rest for 5 days between workouts.

4. Look into Steroids –

Here is a big secret that no one will admit to publicly. All big guys that are seriously ripped juice. Most pro-athletes, including fighters, gymnasts, sprinters, football players, baseball and basketball players, even golfers do steroids. If I was them I wouldn’t admit to it either. To be honest, the only reason I don’t do steroids is because I don’t want to accelerate my hair loss, if it was’t for that, I would do small doses of it in a heart beat. Anavar may be the only steroid that doesn’t have hair loss or any real side effects but it’s expensive and isn’t very powerful. Look into Testosterone Ethanate.

If you do decide to look into doing steroids, do your research and do small doses, don’t go over board. But that’s the truth, almost all of your “idols” in pro sports juice. It’s not a bad thing, it’s just another one of society’s secrets. The real secret is most guys don’t do steroids all of the time, they may have only done it once for one cycle. Doing it even that once may change your genetics from Ectomorph to Mesomorph by building a solid foundation.


Warnings and Dangers:

Just like with pickup, looking for the cheat, the secrets, and the easy way out will often mess you up even more in the long run. The truth is, if you started dating when you were 14 and lost your virginity by the time you were 16 and never went more than a few months without dating a girl, you would be a natural and wouldn’t need to learn pick up.

It’s the same with working out, if you started when you were 16, played sports and was consistent, you wouldn’t have the problems you have now. But if you haven’t, you need to catch up. Do it naturally first, eat, sleep and diet are the most important thing. Hire a personal trainer at least in the beginning so you know the proper form, technique and how hard to push yourself.

Stan Mcquay, this Japanese bodybuilder is an example. In interviews he says he is natural, but he juices, I am 100% sure about that. And I don’t blame him. It’s just the way society is.
